Is a new American mass movement underway?

The most recent Gallup Poll on the subject found that dissatisfaction with the federal government is at an all-time high of 81%. Typically in the past the figure has hovered around 40-45%.

Protests continue on Wall Street and have spread to other cities, as the dissatisfaction with Congress and the White House spills over into dissatisfaction with Big Business and bankers.


Could it be that average Americans --- especially young adults --- are finally waking up to how badly they are getting screwed by the flattening of their world and the widening gap between rich and poor in America?

I have often alluded to that gap in this space over the past few months. Here are some sources to support that grim reality:
